About this website
A little bit about this website
Hello, I’m Matt Hardy (Natalie’s husband). I built this website and thought it would be fun to share the details about it here for anyone who’s interested.
The design is based on the Spectral theme from HTML5 UP they have a lots of other free themes you can checkout on their site. The static site generator Hugo is used to build the site, excellent for local development and deploying via an automated pipeline. The Hugo Spectral Theme was original built by Laura Mosher and can be found in it’s original form here. The theme has been heavily modified to use Hugo’s image processing capabilities and bring some better options for displaying Natalies artwork. It’s hosted on CloudFlare Pages which is blinding fast, scalable, and secure - plus it’s totally free so that’s good for the budget.
